Peter joined Anthony Mason Chambers in 2026. Prior to being called to the Bar, he served as a Commissioner of the South Australian Employment Tribunal (SAET) from 2021. Prior to his statutory appointment, he practiced as a solicitor in general practice following his admission to the Supreme Court of South Australia in 2011.
Peter has extensive experience in dispute resolution processes and tribunal practice. He has conducted more than 2,300 mediations and conciliations across a broad range of disputes. He is a member of numerous mediation, conciliation and
arbitration panels at the State, Federal and international levels.
Peter has a particular interest in disputes arising within building and construction, education, farming and energy/natural resources. He has a further interest in international commercial arbitration, Dispute Boards, Investor-State Dispute Resolution and the facilitation of expert conclaves.
Peter has been actively engaged in legal education and professional development since 2011. He is the course coordinator of the Professional Certificate in Arbitration – jointly offered by the Resolution Institute and Adelaide University. Amongst other subjects, he teaches employment law at Flinders University.
