Michal Bergander-Florek accepts briefs in all areas of law other than criminal. His practise is principally in commercial and civil litigation, with a substantial focus on property and equity disputes, including caveats, leasing disputes, joint ventures, and contractual disputes. Workers’ compensation and employment-related litigation also form a significant part of his practice. He accepts briefs in a limited range of succession and family law–related matters.
He appears regularly in contested trials, interlocutory and urgent hearings and has acted for governments, regulators, insurers, corporations, and private clients. In his previous senior role at a leading national law firm, he frequently acted as solicitor advocate.
